Write For Us

Are you a writer with a deep passion for technology and everything that powers the way we live, work, and connect? Are you looking for the right platform to share your knowledge and expertise?

If so, you’ve come to the right place. We want to start by thanking you for your interest in Boomset and for considering contributing to our blog.

We’re looking for writers who can put together solid, useful content for our site. Good submissions help us give our readers, tech enthusiasts, early adopters, and everyday consumers something worth reading.

Your article reaches thousands of people worldwide, and we share accepted posts across our social media channels. There’s also an SEO upside, which we’ll get into below.

Who Can Write For Us And Why Should You?

You don’t need industry credentials. What we care about is whether you actually know the subject, smartphones, wearables, smart home devices, cybersecurity, electric vehicles, emerging tech, and whether your writing is accurate and useful.

New writers and veterans are both welcome. Boomset is a tech content site with a steady monthly readership, consumers, and professionals who come here for product guidance, honest takes, industry news, and practical advice.

For writers building an online presence, a published post on a recognized tech blog is something you can point to. It shows you can write for a real audience, not just a personal blog, and it gives your portfolio something concrete.

Targeted Readers

One good reason to write here is the traffic it can send your way. When readers connect with your work, some will go looking for more of it. We link back to your site, which tells Google your site is active and worth indexing.

That visibility adds up over time. When a post here hits around 10,000 views, the linked site typically sees around 2,500 referral visits. Some of those people become clients, collaborators, or regular readers.

Networking

Every professional in the tech industry understands that growth depends on connections. The more your name circulates among brands, developers, and fellow tech writers, the more doors open to opportunities you may not have anticipated.

As your network grows through guest posting, more people discover your site and your work. Guest contributions on established platforms like ours position you as a credible voice in the technology space, and that reputation compounds over time.

You’ll find new clients, writing partners, and collaborators through the relationships that start with a single well-placed post.

What Kind of Content Do We Accept?

We need original work that hasn’t been published anywhere else. If we catch spinning, repurposing, or plagiarism, the submission is declined. We also skip press releases and comparison pieces that are really just thinly veiled product ads.

Beyond that, there’s a lot of room. Send us a pitch or a finished draft; a complete draft gets a faster response since we can assess quality immediately.

Topics that work well here:

  • Smartphone reviews, comparisons, and buying guides
  • Wearables and fitness tech: smartwatches, trackers, health devices
  • Smart home and audio technology
  • Internet security, privacy, and online safety
  • Electric vehicles and sustainable transport tech
  • Fintech and payment apps
  • EdTech and digital learning tools
  • Action cameras, drones, and creator gear
  • Travel tech and smart luggage
  • Emerging tech trends and explainers

Guidelines for Posting

If you’ve read this far and you’re still interested in submitting to Boomset, here are the guidelines you’ll need to follow:

  • Stay on topic. Your submission should be relevant to technology, consumer tech, or the broader tech industry. We don’t accept posts that primarily serve to promote the author or a specific product without providing broader value to readers.
  • Word count: Aim for between 800 and 2,000 words. Research thoroughly before and during the writing process to ensure accuracy. We welcome citations, data references, and quotes from credible sources.
  • Include at least one image. You can submit an original photograph or graphic, or include a proper credit and reference to the original source if using someone else’s work.
  • Links are welcome, but please don’t link to any of our direct competitors.
  • Include a conclusion. Every submission should end with a section that summarizes the key takeaways from your article.
  • Accepted formats: We accept most standard formats as long as they are not write-protected. Word Documents, Google Docs, and similar file types are all fine.
  • Submit via email or through our website. Both options are available to you (see below for details).
  • Format for readability. Use headings, subheadings, bullet points, and embedded links to make your post easy to navigate and engaging to read.
  • Light editing may apply. We may make minor corrections to spelling, grammar, or formatting. In some cases, we may also review and adjust the body of the article for clarity and consistency.
  • Optional author bio. You’re welcome to include a short description of yourself to accompany your submission.

How to Submit

As mentioned above, you can send us your pitches and completed articles either by email or through the submission section of our website.

To submit by email, reach us at [email]. Attach your article directly to the email. Once received, we’ll aim to review your work within three business days.

If the content doesn’t meet our quality standards, we’ll decline it, but your writing remains entirely yours to submit elsewhere. If your submission is accepted, we’ll be in touch with a scheduled publication date.

Final Words

We want to take a moment to thank every writer who takes the time to submit their work to us. We get a meaningful number of submissions and can’t accept everything. You’re welcome to revise and resubmit if something gets declined.

We’re not able to give individual feedback or send rejection notices. If your piece is accepted, you’ll hear from us. We’re looking forward to reading what you send.
