ZZZ Sunna Build – Which Skills To Choose From First

Sunna is a great support that can provide the team with a higher chance of winning through various buffs. To use this agent effectively, you’ll need to maximize her Core Skill and Special Attack. Core Skill is always the top priority because it will affect her ATK boost limit. Maximizing this skill will bring you an easy 1,000 ATK Boost.

The second priority is Special Attack. What’s great about Sunna is that her Special Attack activates both the Fever state for the party and the Ether Veil: Idol as well. When Ether Veil is active, all the party members will receive a Stun damage multiplier up to 30% for 40 seconds. It will synergize well with agents that use stun abilities.

Other than the two, the following skills you’ll need to focus on are the Basic Attack, Chain Attack, and lastly, Assist & Dodge. The Basic Attack skill is useful to refresh the duration of Enchantment, while Chain Attack may increase her damage for just a little bit. Remember that Sunna is not an agent that relies on her damage, but rather her supportive abilities.

W-Engine Choice for ZZZ Sunna

So, what’s the best W-Engine to use for Sunna? A top priority is Sunna’s own signature W-Engine. This is what you would aim for since it will make the most for team compositions. What this W-Engine does is to give you boosts for 25% DMG and 25% ATK to all members after activating Sunna’s Special Attack two times. Since it’s easy to do, the buffs are basically guaranteed.

If you’re still out of luck, there are some other A-Rank and S-Rank W-Engines that are suitable for Sunna, although the buffs may be slightly lower. Some examples are Weeping Cradle, Unfettered Game Ball, and Kaboom the Cannon.

Weeping C is considered the standard S-Rank W-Engine for support. You can easily get it even with store currency. Now, what it does is to provide Sunna with a 20.7% DMG boost for 3 seconds. As the duration is indeed very short, it still falls easily behind Sunna’s W-Engine.

Another alternative is the Unfettered Game Ball. This W-Engine is a bit tricky to use because it specifically targets enemies that are weak to physical damage. Equipping Unfettered Game Ball grants Sunna with a CRT Rate buff for that type of enemy.

Kaboom the Cannon is also great to use because it can provide an attack buff for friendly units in the squad when they hit an enemy. This buff can be activated off-field, making it way more consistent than the other alternative W-Engines.

ZZZ Sunna’s Best Drive Disc Set

The best Drive Disc set for Sunna is likely to be the Moonlight Lullaby Disc Set. The reason is simple; it can give you 18% DMG Bonus for 25 seconds after you finish using Ex-Special Attack. As you will likely to do so in each battle, the damage buff will be consistent as well. As additions to the Moonlight Lullaby Set, you can equip 2 pieces of ATK or ER. This can effectively increase Sunna’s Crit DMG and Physical DMG.

Astral Voice is also recommended for Sunna, especially since it can be stacked. The effect might outperform Moonlight Lullaby Set, but this requires more tests. If you have another support equipping Moonlight Lullaby Set, you can equip Astral Voice instead to further enhance the supporting or specifically buffing abilities.

Which Agents Have Better Synergy With Sunna?

As an S-Rank Support Agent, Sunna can naturally be placed in any team composition. However, since Sunna will mostly provide the team with offensive buffs, both Attack and Anomaly agents should synergize well with her.

Since Sunna comes from the Angels of Delusion faction, agents from the same faction should synergize well with her. Sunna has buffs that can benefit Anomaly Agents. Other than that, you can go for the attack-type agents, like Ye Shunguan, for example.

Sunna can act as a great support for Ye Shunguang by providing both DMG and CRIT rate buffs that further enhance the offensive abilities. However, the bonus stun damage multiplier from Sunna might be less effective due to the cap from Ye Shunguang’s Veil Vulnerability. Another alternative agent to Ye Shunguang is Astra Yao, who is also a popular agent using different team compositions.

You may also pair Sunna with another support, making a double support team. This opens up more potential for better buffs for both offensive and defensive stats, making your squad members stronger and more durable at the same time.

Conclusion

Sunna is indeed an agent that’s hard to miss. Once the banner is finally released, it’s a no-brainer to get her right away. She’s an excellent support who may easily fit into any team composition. By providing the team members with offensive buffs, Sunna can be a great choice, especially when paired with strong agents, like Ye Shunguang.
